- Increased fish breeding habitat.
- Pollutant removal.
- Flexibility – being able to move the entire panel to different locations where needed.
- Eco friendly compared to other options such as algaecides.
- Cost effective, in comparison to constructing dedicated plant zones.
- Reduced aquatic weed growth (due to reduced habitat for the weeds!)
The floating wetland panels are designed to create optimal conditions for selected vegetation to penetrate the water column and absorb nitrogen and phosphorus. The root system provides a vast activated surface area for microbes and beneficial bacteria to adhere to. Biofilms existing on the root and panel allow the microbes and bacteria to digest organic matter while trapping suspended solids in the root systems. The more the root system grows the better the result. The shade created from these panels also helps reduce algae growth.

When water conditions are perfect. Almost all plants survive and thrive. However when external factors such as pests, birds, use of algaecides and lack of nutrients occur. Our team will best recommend how to avoid these problems from happening or reoccuring.
Usually a full day with a few staff, this depends on number of panels, size of the area and depth of the water. Some installations require boat, some can be done by wading out.
